Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Self Portrait Tuesday Feb 21 Morning Me
Accepting myself in the morning is a difficult task. I clean up really well; but I wake up badly. The bags, the sags, the don't make me do this attitude. Since we are exposing all of our selves, morning me is hard to reveal and yet somewhere in there is a better day.

ah, I have so missed your blogging during your absences!!
And you are my heroine for the braveness to blog photos like these.
Oh boy....this should prove interesting at Tahoe as I am sort of a morning person. I say "sort of" as I don't do well until after the first cup of coffee and am not totally ok until the 2nd. I kinda lose steam in the afternoon but, after a nap, and ready to go until 10pm or so.....yeah, I run out of gas early....
teri
I know exactly how you feel!
