By using template free applique, the work progressed quickly. They loved not having to do any prep and simply placing the master pattern on the light box, drawing the required piece, cutting while adding seam allowance and then off to applique. I promise you this cuts down 95% of prep time......which I hope will make applique more appealing to all quiltmakers.
