Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Thanks for explaining how you baste your quilts on the wall...my knees suffer when I've floor basted...ummm, maybe that is why I avoid large pieces (light bulb moment) This may be a liberating moment :)
Hey Karoda you gotta try this method...when I do really big quilts, I use my ball chair to roll back and forth across the bottom edge so I am always using good posture. Let me know how it works for you.
