Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

First Day in Cambria

Sandy opening the conference

Not much to say yet. Classes start tomorrow morning. Thought I would share with you how beautiful it is here. We had a lovely dinner at Robbins in downtown Cambria, right across the street from my favorite garden/herb shop. They see the best aromatherapy products...so a trip is in the offing on Tuesday. Our teaching rooms are all ready...students got to set up last night...and the bartender is a hoot. Unfortunately, he remembered me from last year...that cannot be a good sign...bleech. See you tomorrow but for now enjoy thre pics.Posted by Hello
