Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Leaving Long Island

Just a quick hello, to let you know I am homeward bouhnd. Had an incredible time with the Big House Quilters.....if you ever get asked to teach for them say yes immediately. There are lots of great pictures to follow of some of the best students hard at work but since I am at the airport that will have to wait. Thanks for all the compliments about the bathing suit...it was a Land's End...size 6 bottom; size 8 top due to the upper balcony.
Now two weeks home in the studio doing my favorite thing of all time.....working. I promise to have the pics up tonight.
Get off the computer and get to the studio.
