Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

24 Addict

Close-up
Didn't get much done today because A&E had a "24" marathon on since yesterday. Most of the episodes from yesterday I had seen but today's epispdes were all the ones I missed.. Since this is one of my guilty pleasures, I spent most of the day glued to the tube. What else can happen to poor Jack, hero of the decade? Did manage to get some surface design started....more to come. Can you even tell the difference in the photos? You certainly can in real life.....wish I could get this photography thing down better.

The long weekend was good for us. Gave us time to decompress and see all the hopeful news....and also time to just do nothing. Back to work tomorrow with a full schedule but refreshed and clearer thoughts. Working on this simple design really gave me a freedom I don't usually have...plus speed I never accomplish.

Hope you all had as good a week end as possible and time to share with your families.Posted by Picasa

I can see the difference (and I like it).
