Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Simple Still Life Object with Shadow
Well, this one threw me for a loop....it was hard. First to find something interesting and second to get a shadow that had real depth. I have not decided....and am open to suggestions...as a matter of fact...help! When Debra gives you a challenge, it is truly a challenge. Hope all y'll had an easier time than I did. Now much thiking required.
