Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Hi Gabrielle. I vote for clearing & reorganizing. The outer process will help rearrange the inner 'furniture' and offer a new view of your self, which in turn will appear to suddenly offer the solution to the unfinished artworks. As above, so below. I remember going out to weed the garden when my husband was undergoing chemo. On my knees, methodically tearing the invaders out of the soil, I started to laugh and cry as it became obvious that the garden was weeding me. It was a wonderful release. Have fun!
