Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Gabrielle,

You cleaned up that small point "with too many pieces"... and now this looks fabulous!!! I love this piece.

This is quite a delight to the eye now. I'd love to see it in person.

It has that Chagall thing going on. The watery yet dense colors and the broken curvy space, yet very lively. It's mysterious looking.

Tremendous! What a change for you. Like the way it all came together. Looking forward to seeing the combo come out of your new design! Isn't it fun to explore new stuff and do the ole "What if"
