Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.
This one looks much better to me... I'm not an expert by a long shot; however, it REALLY works for me in the vertical. I like the one with the wide open space in the center and the "roads" along the edges too.
I like the vertical, too. I see a door, pathways, branches maybe. With all these elements, a sense of mystery. Now, we look forward to seeing the COLOR. Jen

Yes, definitely.
This is definately a better orientation. Are you keeping or losing those arcs in the big center rectangle?
Yes! Turning it vertical makes a world of difference.
This looks like it will be an interesting series!
Yeah, I like that!
