Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Last Studio Work for the Day

This is a collage of some of the pieces I painted a few weeks ago, remember? They are WonderUndered (my teeth are grating) to watercolor canvas. Tomorrow I will add paint in the negative space to make it a more cohesive piece.

Now I am going to go sit on my fat behind and do something where I know what I am doing...hand sewing.Posted by Picasa

There is a definite 3-D quality to this piece. It may be the way it is photographed but it looks good. You are obviously having fun! Why not frame the canvas one as a piece of Art!
