Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Alive But Frustrated with Computer Problems

Yes, Eric does has me working like crazy. He is going to feature my transition work along with three quilts from my website on his blog tomorrow. This is so cool. I am so jazzed and honored. Hopefully, it will lead someone to take the leap into working with a coach.
The reason I have been absent is my hard drive crashed...never fear it was backed-up. Had to wait on Dell to get the drive installed; only to discover there was a fan failure. Off again the get the part, back to install.
Everything is cool, right.....noooo! Have to reinstall operating system, reinstall all the programs. and somehow my cable modem got unconfigured or whatever the word is in the process. To make a long story short, I am keeping my fingers crossed that the modem holds out long enough to get this posted. It will work for about 10 minutes every 30 minutes and the kaplooeing.
Miss y'all so much..dying to catch up on what every one has been doing but alas have to wait until tomorrow for the modem guy.
Hope to be in touch with more pics and discussion soon.
