Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Almost There

Sculpture on the street of men looking like they are trying to cross the intersection. There are three men but I keep losing two of them in the collage. The building on the top right is next to the building on the bottom left. Old meets new again. However, according to Sharon, there was quite a dither about this combination. Probably the wanted the space where the older building was as well but the city fathers kept that from happening. Bottom right is the Yarra River that runs through the city. The buildings are row houses, not like our row houses. These houses are actually for equipment for rowing teams....oh yeah, the river runs the wrong way...up stream not down. Posted by Picasa
