Today should have been the day when I finally got on schedule and semi-normal, but nooooo! I woke up at 3 a.m. not feeling well. Everyone at home had been coming down with something right before I left. Immediately, I started on Airborne and extra vitamin C and felt fine. Have gotten out every day for a walk and made sure to eat healthy. Even managed to go back to sleep yesterday but not today.
What to do? Executive decision....stay in all day...take more Airborne and vitamins and applique or read. This is very weird because I felt great yesterday....even did Pilates yesterday afternoon. Gottta be at my best Thursday so all I can think of is to do nothing today and hope for a better tomorrow. Will keep you posted if things get better as the day goes along. It is 8 a.m. here on Tuesday, 24 Jan. No wonder I am all upside down.
My apologies on mis-stating the population of Australia. I was going on information from my taxi driver. Obviously, he needs to research his tourism info.
Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Oh you poor poor thing. I really feel for you. When I was teaching in Omaha we all got flu type symptoms and I struggled on teaching buoyed up with loads of pills that Martin had insisted I take with me just in case. I was OK but I heard when I left that there was Legionaires disease in the hotel! So lots of rest and drink lots of water and lemon. Will hold good thoughts for you!
