Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

What Me, Tired?

Just wanted you to know I am really in the pink....heh, heh. The weather is still quite cool here even though they are predicting very warm weather for later. Today was windy and cool...wish I had been able to take a longer walk but getting out did do some good. Just don't use this picture as a yardstick. More tomorrow, your roving reporter from down under. Posted by Picasa

Sweetie, don't know if you have time to see this - but there is a SUPERB exhibition on that I think you would REALLY enjoy:

Margaret Preston at the Ian Potter Centre - Federation Square
Corner of Russell and
Flinders Streets, Melbourne.Open 10-5. She was an awesome Aussie artist and printmaker, very graphic style... ah shoot, you've probably had TONS of people trying to point you at stuff already, but there's my recommendation for a DO NOT MISS!!
