Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Before and After

We painted, colored with paint sticks and water soluable oil pastels. Note the gorgeous paints to highlight the florals. What a change. Posted by Picasa

These are all great. This is the bit I like best and the class I'd take if given choices. In fact I could spend my time just doing this and to hang with the sewing!

Thanks so much for the day Gabrielle. Can't believe the difference that it made to my little yellow flowers.
Am already dreaming up of things I can do with my quilts in progress!

Think with your love of Melbourne you should come here more often and teach far more classes for us Melbournites!
Cheers and thanks once again. May the art be with you!!
