Yesterday I emailed Eric jpegs of a couple of the photos I posted. Haven't heard back from him yet but will let you know what he has to say. Thank you all for your insightful comments. I am trying to answer them all on the post they accompany so everyone can participate in the dialogue. What a great community of artist we have on the ring. Diane you did us all a great favor....we can never repay you. Or maybe we can with a small piece from each of us. Gerrie, did you hear that I said small....I must be slipping.
Last night I sketcheted with my left hand...what a trip! It is amazing how much control you get very quickly. This wasn't anything Eric suggested just something I wanted to try. I am so right handed that my left side is just there to hold up my clothes. Going to try some more later today. Right now Dell is on the way to finally try and get my computer back to life.....and I have two sinks full of dirty dishes. See that's what you get for cooking.
Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Having a good laugh. I love that idea! If anyone wants Diane's snail mail - e-mail me!!
Blushing...it's not necessary, but then...I'd LOVE it!
