Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Gee Whiz Guys!

I write this long philosphical post about life and all you can do is complain about having to hit a mute button. I am heart-broken, small tears on the computer keys. My apologies for making you work so hard....I take the pledge to not post anymore videos...don't want you stop reading the blog...although obviously the post is secondary to muting the video, Sigh! I crawl off to a corner with a blankie to cover my head.

Now, now....if you can write grumpy anti-bliss posts, you can put up with some of us being grumpy about having to hit the mute button several times in one visit. ;-) If you think about it, it's actually a compliment that we want to go back and forth between your posts and comments so many times! If I was only doing a quick hit-n-run visit that meant I only had to hit the button once it wouldn't bug me so much! But on to other topics...

I really like the new multi-layer piece. I was a wee bit skeptical when you started using the wire ties to put it all together becaue I thought it would end up all wobbly and hard to manage, but it looks like it ended up hanging really nicely and the colored ties are a cool design element - almost bead-like.

I'm not complaining! I come back to hear the music! grin! And to look and read of course! bigger grin! I can't understand why folk don't like listening to it and anyway they could turn the sound down on their speakers which is easier! lol
