Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

How the sketch is orientated

Can you tell I am having one of my can't get to sleep nights? Now to add the single piece back for weight at the bottom. Promise I will shut up after that. Posted by Picasa

It looks different now! Wait. Let me scroll a bit....

That pieced bit on the (now) left hand side that ends at the center panel... my eye wants to see something of that come out the other side. Does this make sense? Just a small "tail" of the periwinkle or the green.

I like the small scallopy "streams" you added last night. Adds something approaching whimsy to the pieces.
