Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Oh...grandma!! They are beautiful!! We have a new girl who will be making her debut in early August (she will be born in Germany as the AF base in Turkey is pretty primative and really only a glorified MASH unit). In our family, so far for the last 5 generations, the sexes have alternated as to which was dominent...this little girl will make it 3 to 1 (not counting the 2 steps....both girls also). So, I guess I can look forward to girl grandbabies...if my sons ever get married!! Glad Chris is looking so hale and hearty!!
