Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

Back to Normal

Ready to teach, feeling good...filled with images of amazing art and architecture. Glowing and soft..ready to take on my students and make art.
Stay tuned...same channel, same station...who knows what the week will bring. Posted by Picasa

I love your explorations of Melbourne. It reminds me of how I felt when I came to live here 4 years ago. How quickly one can forget and slip into life without seeing. Your adventures remind me of my parents visit a few years ago - they were constantly looking up. When everyone else only saw shop windows, they saw architechture and scultpure. Hope you enjoy the rest of your stay and that your workshops go well. I'll be there but am attending another workshop.

You've gotta get up to the top end of the city. RMIT(where I work), Storey Hall, Building 8 and the figtree courtyard are not to be missed.
Melbourne City Baths are good too if you like Edwardian, they haven't changed.
Looking forward to Saturday's workshop.
