Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

The Glamorous Life of Traveling and Teaching

My favorite deer in the headlights...day one is done look. Not dazed and confused, just all done in. For me teaching is inspirational but also I take the responsibility of giving everything I can to each class....this can be taxing yet very rewarding. It does, however, leave me ready to hit the sheets. The saga continues tomorrow with Gala fancy dress dinner tomorrow night. Have to dash back to hotel to get all dolled up or carry clothes with me...decisions, decisions. Posted by Picasa

Thanks for sharing all these pieces. Enjoy your gala dinner, take lots more pics, (I kinda think you would anyway w/o me asking!) It must be joy to teach and see the ideas develop

Loved the tour, loved seeing the students' work. Somehow I'm not surprised you are a "give it all" teacher. Jen
