Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

I find all these interesting and want to mention that I like the top one very much, but this one made me go "ooooh" when the photo popped up. Something about it I find very intriguing.

Thanks Deb. This was one of those pieces that just did itself, I just stayed out of the way. Hard for me to do but I am also pleased with how it turned out.

This is a fascinating piece! it took my breathe away.

Still not feeling anything personal here... but loving to look at it.

Debra, that is the heart of the problem. It is a good piece, even if I say so myself but I see it as basic mechanical abstraction...is this making any sense?
