Things are getting more and more eccentric at Casa de la Swain. Changing styles in my textile work, falling in love again with painting and photography...and then there is the ever illusive quest for continuing creativity through working with Eric Maisel. Still on the road teaching, posting now at the Ragged Cloth Cafe and taking the pledge to keep handmaiden up to date.

The Year in Review

Of course, this is just a glimpse not everything from the year....but I thought it would be fun to look back on some selected moments. As with other bloggers, I have a list of things I wanted to accomplish in 2005 and some goals for 2006. However, I am going to prolong the move into the new year by posting them tomorrow. Rule one...don't rush there is a whole year ahead.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your great work and humorous, insightful blogs. I have been made richer by our community....and eagerly look forward to what we will discover and discuss in the coming year.
Starting the year off in my typical fashion, my hard drive is going to the scrap heap. However, it is still alive enough that we backed-up everything yesterday. As luck would have it, the computer is still under warranty.....can you believe that?....so later this week a technician will drop by to install the new hard drive. Does this mean I have to clean house? Ouch! My hope is that this is the same kind of luck that will occur throughout 2006.
Off for now....back tomorrow with goals...hope you enjoy the trip down memory lane.
